Rhapsody in Blue:
A Gershwin Evening

Among the 20th Century’s most beloved composers, George Gershwin’s music is immediately recognizable. Drawing on both classical and jazz traditions, his music is full of bustling energy and unforgettable melodies. Pianist and composer Michael Stephen Brown adds his own touch with his world premiere entitled Near Collision, Rhapsody for Piano Four Hands, a new work reflecting on Gershwin's legacy.
