The avant-garde trio Real Quiet offers a multimedia program of contemporary works you haven’t heard before. Cutting-edge premieres from Kaija Saariaho (a Finnish composer living in Paris), Huang Ruo (a Chinese composer living in New York), and the British composer James Aitchison offer a global glimpse of new music, with a newly-arranged trio by the late American composer Lou Harrison seeming almost ancient in this context.
