Concerts: Norman/Mozart/Beethoven: Inspiration Triumphs

Back to All Concerts

Composer Andrew Norman’s brightly colored ode to Frank Lloyd Wright’s art glass windows opens a concert of clarity and transformation. Earlier in the summer we feature a fragment of an unfinished clarinet quintet by Mozart. He poured what he learned from this and other experiments into the unforgettable Quintet in A major featured here. And though Beethoven’s Viola Quintet begins in the musical world of Mozart, it ends squarely in the domain of Beethoven.
