Emmanuel Ceysson, harp
Harpist Emmanuel Ceysson has won numerous awards around the world including the 2009 ARD Music Competition in Munich, the 2004 USA International Harp Competition in Bloomington, IN and the 2006 Young Concert Artists International Auditions. These many successes have resulted in performances with the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and in many recital appearances throughout the United States and Europe. In l995, Mr. Ceysson made his debut at Wigmore Hall in London and his Paris recital debut at the Salle Gaveau. Mr. Ceysson attended the Conservatoire National de Région de Lyon. Also an accomplished transcriber and arranger, he received the prestigious “Premier Prix” from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris (CNSMDP). He currently holds the post of Principal Harp of the Paris Opera Orchestra. Emannuel Ceysson’s debut CD, Divertissements à la française, was released in 2005 on Egan Records.
